Duilink Terms
These terms govern the use of Duilink, including personal MyPages, QR codes, vCards and links shared by users.
1) Nature of the service
The service is intended for users who can validly create an account and share their contact data. Users acting on behalf of a company, organization or professional declare that they are entitled to do so.
Duilink lets users create a personal contact page reachable via link, QR or NFC. The MyPage is reachable by anyone who has the link but is not intended for search engine indexing.
2) User responsibility
The user is responsible for data, text, links, images and logos uploaded or entered in their MyPage. Only content the user has the right to use and share may be published.
The user is also responsible for keeping access credentials safe and for activity performed through their account. Suspected unauthorized access or abuse should be reported to info@duilio.cc.
By entering content in the MyPage, the user grants Duilink a limited, non-exclusive license, revocable through deletion, to host, display and technically make that content available within the service.
3) Prohibited content
- Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory or rights-infringing content.
- Personal data of other people published without a valid legal basis or authorization.
- Links to malware, phishing, scams, spam or services that violate applicable law.
- Use of the service to impersonate others or create confusion about identity.
4) Removal and suspension
Duilink may remove content, disable MyPages or suspend accounts in case of abuse, security risk, violation of these terms, or legitimate requests from authorities or affected parties.
5) Reports
To report abusive content, unauthorized personal data publication or security issues, write to info@duilio.cc and include the MyPage URL, reason for the report and a contact for follow-up.
6) Service availability
Duilink is provided in an initial/MVP phase. Changes, maintenance windows, temporary limitations or interruptions may occur. We do our best to keep the service stable and secure.
Some features depend on devices, browsers, operating systems, third-party services, NFC tags or apps selected by the user. We cannot guarantee universal compatibility with every NFC reader, browser, tag, printer or external app.
Duilink may update, modify or remove features for technical, security, legal or organizational reasons, while aiming not to unnecessarily compromise access to data already entered by the user.
7) Registration fee
Duilink registration is free. No subscription or recurring fee applies; any project contributions are voluntary and are not required to use the available free features.
Any NFC tags shipped to paying users are an additional benefit, subject to availability and correct shipping details. They are not required to use Duilink: the service works with link, QR, vCard and any compatible NFC tag that the user can program from their own Duilink page.
At this stage, links may be present to voluntarily contribute to the project or support its development. Such contributions are not required to use the available free features and, if handled through external platforms, are also subject to the relevant provider's terms.
8) External links and third-party services
The MyPage may include links, contacts or buttons to third-party services selected by the user, such as websites, social networks, WhatsApp, email, maps or other apps. Opening those services is subject to the terms and privacy policies of their respective providers.
Duilink does not control the content, availability, security or data processing performed by external websites and apps reached through links entered by the user.
9) Liability limitations
Duilink is provided with reasonable technical care, but does not guarantee the absolute absence of errors, interruptions or incompatibilities. To the extent permitted by law, Duilink is not liable for indirect damages, lost opportunities, data loss due to external causes or improper use of the service.
10) Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any issue, users are invited to first contact info@duilio.cc to seek a direct solution. Mandatory rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected.
11) Privacy
Personal data processing is described in the Duilink Privacy Policy.
